WECAN announced today the appointment of seven new members to its Board of Directors: Heidi Bamburg, Technology Executive and Advisor of Demandbase; Teasha Cable, CEO of CModel; Tammy Fawcett, COO of ArcherPoint; Cindy Grogan, VP of Flexera; Amy Horowitz, RVP of Matillion; Brea Starmer, CEO/Founder of Lions + Tigers; and Heather Zindel, Founder, Bloom Consulting & Project Management Group, Inc.

“The unique insight these executives bring to the table supports WECAN’s strategic focus on empowering female leadership in the workplace” said Heidi Lorensen, President of WECAN. “They represent companies that are leading the transformation of the workplace by elevating women to leadership roles during a changing time that demands new models of leadership.”

WECAN aspires to influence women leaders in tech to become accessible female role models and mentor a pipeline of leadership talent. The network provides a forum and tools for women leaders to use their voice to disrupt and transform the status quo and close the gap in tech leadership diversity.

She has served on several boards, including International Ballet Theatre and Girl Scouts of Western Washington. Heidi has also served on two international diplomatic/trade delegations: Baltics and China. She is also passionate about wine, and co-owns a winery (NIGHT Wines) in the Napa Valley.

Teasha Cable

Teasha personifies our mission. As a highly talented executive-turned-entrepreneur woman of color, Teasha has lived the experience of knowing how extra hard it has been for her to get to the levels she did within companies, and now to raise capital as a business owner. She is passionate about helping ensure others have it easier.

Teasha co-founded CModel in April of this year. CModel is an automated decision intelligence platform that helps CEOs get to the “truth” in their revenue numbers. She has nearly two decades of experience in sales and revenue operations that she brought to bear with CModel. Immediately prior to Cmodel, Teasha was Vice President of Business Development and Product Strategy at Singularity University, so understands the rapid pace of change in technology, and the importance of having women’s perspectives leading technology companies.

Tammy Fawcett
