“I think realizing that you’re not alone, that you are standing with millions of your sisters around the world is vital.”

- Malala Yousafzai, the world's youngest Nobel Laureate

Our Story

Fortune 50 tech companies recognize the challenges regarding equitable leadership roles for women and the lack of accessible female roles models.

Therefore, a strategic board of executive women with diverse experiences and influence was created to address the disparity of women within the industry.

Women Executives Channel Advisory Network (WECAN) is a group of senior leaders in influential technology companies, with a common passion for lifting up and normalizing women in leadership roles in technology companies.

Hear from Microsoft’s Sherlaender “Lani” Phillips, Vice President, US Channel Sales and Founder of WECAN, about the formation of WECAN and how our charter to build a pipeline of women leaders was born.
